@tinzovideo Ever hear of personal responsibility? It’s not a new idea, but it basically mean to worry about the things I’m doing and you worry about the things your doing. If i so happen to injure someone from my actions then their is a set of repercussions that I now have to deal with. The government is not going to eliminate all possible distractions while driving. If we were taught logic instead of input output then we wouldn’t have 95% of the problems we have now a days..

@tinzovideo Why the hell am I responsible for a 10 year old playing near a ROAD. I have to change the way I live MY life because some parent has not taught their 10 yr old not to run out into a road?! I refuse to change for the .0000001% of people that stumble onto roadways. When was the last time you had to lock up your brakes b/c some dumb ass is retarded and walked out in front of you. Me, it’s never happened, maybe a few Mexicans on bikes but thats different.

I don’t pretend to understand a lot of what Ron Paul talks about – especially the bit about getting rid of the Federal Reserve – and it does bother me sometimes the way he refers to the constitution like a Christian refers to the bible – as if it were written by God and its laws were immutable – but I love the fact that he wants to end the empire; I adore that he wants to get rid of foreign aid; and I’m ecstatic that his instincts are always to stop the government meddling in people’s lives.

***The simple thing is, while driving, you are responsible for your heavy car. You can be distracted from talking on the phone. There could be little kids out near the road. You could hit them. You wanna kill yourself? Fine, go to the desert where no one is around. You want to hit a little 10 year old kid playing on the sidewalk and change his life forever. I never even thought about that, but since phones were not something our founding fathers knew would even exist, i think that laws concerning phones wouldnt necessarily be un-constitutional, id say its up to the states though.

I don’t need a study to tell me that drunk driving is a hell of a lot more dangerous than talking on a phone, im not even trying to argue just think about it for a second talking on your phone is no different than talking to passengers except u actually keep your eyes on the road instead of sometimes looking in their direction, its a sham jus use common sense…

@tfs420 dude there are tons of studies out there that suggest this; you can check that out yourself. They tested reaction time and well, everything they look for when testing for the influence of alcohol on driving; then compared the results of the influence of cellphone use and alcohol use and the results came out showing that cellphone use is only a little less dangerous. Not everything is a bullshit study just because you choose not to believe it…

@BroodjeEend I can respect that opinion. I think it is logical and based on your own personal experience. My personal experience is a little different, however. I have lived in LA and have friends that have lived in extremely high populated cities in other countries, like Sydney Australia. Crime is terrible in the these big cities, and criminals always have access to firearms and not just handguns but full-automatic weapons. I know because they offered to sell them to us! Crazy!
