@rojorulet Movement accomplished… nothing. People were already aware of the economy, the infinite issues occupy represented were things people are already aware of, this will just be forgotten.

@maxpower789z Do you research, this military appropriations bill must be renewed and voted upon.That document is almost five years old. He talks about a bill that is in Congress right now- listen! The new bill basically expands on what you so thoughtfully posted, stating that citizens may also be detained without trial and suspension of habeas corpus if they are deemed to be involved in domestic terrorism or subversive activity where the “war” is being fought on US soil.
They don’t want to cause harm? Why do they show up to peaceful protests decked out in riot gear while swinging batons?

the next step is for civilians to be killed by the police & military. this is a first step. revolution isn’t fun or pretty. look at all the footage of the people in the Egyptian Revolution. It’s going to get ugly & VERY scary, THEN things will change.

@righttofeelsafe I was watching this and I honestly was expecting the reporter to either stop and go to another person or pan the camera somewhere else and start moving away. Glad that this was live and the man was very eloquent indeed. Gotta love these vets.
If the Occupy Movement actually had leaders, this man would be one of them, but we don’t, so more power to this man and the movement!
