I’m gunna cry if this goes thru :’( and all ppl of the internet will hate on the ppl that passed that dumb bill
Censorship of the internet should not be done by any means. These people don’t gain anything but more fucking money.
Make 14 million dollars a year? FUCK NO MAKE 18 MILLION BY REMOVING FREEDOM.
Everybody is too greedy and always fucking wants more, why can’t we just be happy with what we have without the need to consume more and more?
@streneck Iraq*
There aren’t going to many sales in Hollywood movies or even music if Youtube and Facebook are shut down. I watch all my trailers and teasers on both these sites.
GOOD JOB HOLLYWOOD for supporting, stupid.
I’m just going to move to South Korea. They almost have more rights than us -__-
FFFFFFFFFFUCK S.O.P.A!!!!!
Freedom my ass
@Jazziggady Oh there is hope. Harry Reid filed a motion to proceed on the Protect IP Act in January. With pirate websites getting shut down there will be much less competition. There are new business models that will protect the artists, such as streaming only access albums. The consumer will no longer have a copy of the digital file, you will need an Internet connection to listen to music. Songwriters can make money again weeeee fun fun!
CONFIRMED: The Trillion-Dollar Lawsuit That Could End Financial Tyranny
@InhabitantOfUniverse Sorry mate, you loosing a battle anyway. Once your video is on youtube, you have no choice what so ever. So what your saying makes no sense at all. I stopped paying for music a long time ago. I download everything. Why? Because i’m not paying way over the odds for something that may not be worth it. You have no hope anyway, unless your willing to join the Cabal like rihanna, jay-z kanye, beyonce, christina aguilera. Join SBTV to get noticed
@SevenFootPelican People forget that not everyone is a rich Hollywood star. Illegal file sharing hurt me personally as an artist. Musicians are thought of as low-lifes without a job…How do you think we got that image? The media made it seem like it was not a crime to fileshare while musicians lost most of their income. Now that they have killed music they are targeting the Internet. A perfect plan being executed over decades.
Watch TotalBiscuit’s vid on the subject. That’s where the best explanation is.
Hope*
I’ve lost all hole in the USA this year.
@Imcomingguys
You got a point there but again, as they say at that part of the video, if the website brought to court is a website that isn’t dedicated to copyright infringement, the people that took the site to court are liable for court costs.
I’m sorry but anyone that thinks the US Government will shut down some of their best forms of income really needs a reality check.
America is dead.
We the people.
The people rule the country.
If the people rule.why is something that we DO NOT WANT TO HAPPEN happening? The removal of YouTube,and the removal of basically the Internet…does ANYBIDY other than the 70 year old dumb asses who don’t even know what a keyboard is at congress actually want this?!
American gov. pissing world off. Jesus what will they think of next. -.-
Question: if the parent company is even remotely linked to a subsidiary that is, oh I dunno, engaged in something naughty like say…phone hacking…let’s take down the parent company? :]
@ninetalescommander You can see how little they actually understand what they are talking about then? Say a site hosts pirated movies. If some guy goes on facebook and links all of his friends to that site, facebook can be shut down. Same with youtube and google+
Everything’s gone to crap
There is something that I really want some opinion on.
If you go to the Youtube channel keepthewebopen and watch their video titled House Judiciary SOPA Markup, Part 4 and move the video to 3:09:00, they talk about what sort of websites will fall under this law.
If I am correct and I ave heard it right, Youtube, Facebook and so on will not be effected.
@TooCool1993 haha… 60 mill? since google payed $1,65 billion for youtube, I don’t think they will get payed off with 60 mill
Youtube has a ton of pirated materials on it… DMCA’s are flying around like pidgins in the park…
