Megaupload Op: Anonymous downs FBI, DoJ, music sites in biggest attack ever
Today the Feds raided the website MegaUpload, which led to the arrests of seven people across the globe, according to some reports. Now the Hacktivist group, Anonymous, has come forth in retaliation to the crackdown and launched an attack on several websites including The Department of Justice, Universal Music Group, and the Recording Industry Association of America. The wave of attacks is just the beginning and Barrett Brown, founder of Project PM, joins us to discuss whats next for the groups. RT on Twitter twitter.com RT on Facebook www.facebook.com

Sopa means soup in Spanish….fun fact…
@gnossticc
We wont boycott them because they provide much of the media we enjoy every day. However we will slap them around as they become too greedy. Remember do not crush the little startup in your haste to smite the giant
@KikeMirby S U C K O B A M A S D I C K !
GO Anonymous GO!!!!!
Ron Paul 2012! End SOPA and PIPA! Free Comerce! End the FEDERAL RESERVE! We are aware of their crimes against humanity. The more they kill, the bigger our movement gets. Goldman Sachs of shit will keep on losing power…
Why the f*** does the United states get to enforce laws that affect the entire planet’s internet? I think laws should be put in place so that megauploads is available regionally and not banned for the rest of the planet. If the American government want to be vindictive towards a group, it shouldn’t EVER affect me when I don’t even live there.
Seriously, it’s hard to not hate the US government when they constantly start wars & pull sh** like this.
yay Anonymous.
Anonymous are the internet heroes!
Anyone else notice that it says “Hackivists Stike back”…
This is total hype … vote for Obama not Ron Paul or any GOP ever
@thefuzzbuzz2 If prices are going up it’s because the industry is greedy. Piracy is DROPPING due to online music SALES and PAID streaming services. The industry will not tell how they arrived at numbers like 600 million games being downloaded from torrents last year, while independent open/public research arrive at 240 million games. Still a lot, but only 1/3 of what the SOPA supporters report while pushing for a law to censor the internet. THEY LIE to change laws..
@GuardianoftheSource Okay, so what, who freaking cares, how small or big the attack was, let alone if ppl are easily impressed or not? Let me have my moment, of “fuck the gov’t” please! Thanks… Don’t bother responding back, because I’ll just ignore it. I don’t have time to be arguing with someone over the net! [=

@WeeshdudeFTW Well they flooded the websites with a tremendous amount of requests by using LOIC/HOIC. Thus effectively DDOSing a website.
@RONNEYrabbitsHOLE He is loosely affiliated with Anonymous. He is actually being truthful about approaching the FBI and Military. I was there. Anonymous was making inquires about something discovered during the HBGary Federal hack. Anonymous code named the Operation OpMetalGear. Barret Brown was one of the people calling and trying to get an interview with the Pentagon officials and United States Chamber of Commerce. Both of whom were involved with crimes that were discovered.
