@AussieTrueBlueRecipe Look within your own party Cain. Some redneck republicans don’t want a black man at the GOP helm, I’m sure. This is nothing short of character assassination – and really to be expected – it’s the lengths Americans tend to stoop to every single time – whether it’s Obama’s birth certificate; or Hilary’s presence while there was gunfire….it doesn’t matter what the issue, American’s will always raise irrelevant issues in an attempt to influence those with less smarts.
I think he is credible (and I’m an Aussie). Americans need to focus less on personal character assassination and more on the polices they stand up for; what they can do for the nation.
Perhaps start by ironing the damn flags in the background – that’s terrible that they’re all crushed and wrinkled.
@8151Michael maybe my perspective is a little distorted, it was clear to me but, then again I just happened to be crazy about markets and real estate investing. Seems it would have been just as clear to a mathetician/business tycoon also.

Forbes magazine once said that Enron was a top 10 stock pick and look what happened to that company! I suppose that the Forbes magazine and all its authors are idiots too. He didn’t say that the bubble was not real, he wrote and said that he didn’t believe that the “burst” would be as bad as people thought based on Freddie’s info.

Herman Cain wrote in 2005 that a housing crisis would never occur, that any suspicion of that was nonsense and deleterious to the economy. He told it was all a media conspiracy, in 2007. That the media was in dellusional state, that the economy was fine etc. etc. That means he doesn’t have a clue about the crisis. He’s no idea of its causes. Well, Ron Paul predicted exactly what would happen in 2001, you know…

Well, it always happens, because gov. intervention is always about picking and choosing, don’t you know that? Govn. can pick and choose more or less, but it always does it. But, besides his ignorance of basic economics of interventionism, he supports corporatism. He clearly believes that the people must pay for the failures of big companies. This is a fact.

@BernardoEmerick Oh come on. He was refering to nuclear powered aircraft carriers that China is building- he worked in ballistics in Vietnam against a nuclar China. He supported the concept of TARP with what had been mentioned, but not the picking and choosing of the winner and losers of all that bailout money. He did publish the article about not believing in the housing collapse before it happened but that is because of the massive fraud of numbers by Freddie and Fannie (well known).
